Not naked of course, but she did go down to her bra and panties.
We neglected to take any pictures of each other because I'd finally remembered to dig out my stock of light sticks and the like (I'd bought a whole bunch on clearance after the fourth of July some years back). I wanted to use them up because last time I dug into the stock (A few Orycons back) a lot of them were DOA.
Most of the necklaces and bracelets turned out to be dead. But the small and large sticks were ok.
So fay would up with a small glowstick at the end of each braid and a couple of bracelets on her in various places. Also one small one down her back (hanging from the back of her bike helmet).
We each had two of the large green glowsticks hanging from a cord around our necks.
We'd left a bit to late to see the exhibit at the art museum (drat), but given the crowds, even if we'd gotten there on time I might have skipped it.
The trip to the assembly point involved two transfers. We got lucky and the first two buses didn't have any bikes on them. The third one had a bike on the rack (the ones on buses only hold two bikes).
But the driver was nice and let me stick my bike in one of the wheelchair spots since we were only going about 10 minutes. Halfway there, the person who'd had the bike on the bus when we got off left and I switched my bike to the rack.
I'm carefully *not* naming the bus line because I bet the driver wasn't supposed to do that.
Fay did ok on the ride. She struggled a bit, but no more than I did. Heck a couple times *I* got off and walked before she did.
The ride wasn't a loop this year. Wound up ending near the place the ride started last year (the reason they couldn't use the lot they'd used last year was pretty obvious. Huge piles of gravel and lots of heavy equipment.
Anyway, the ride was 6.7 miles and Fay & I did it in a bit under an hour.
Fay didn't want to ride home because of the hills and talked me into going over to the #12 stop. We had to wait 25 minutes, and there was already one bike on the rack. So I let Fay take the bus and started riding. That was about 12:10. I got home about 1:20. Most of that time was the slopes I had to walk up. Basically took about 50 minutes to go a couple miles north and then about 15-20 to go a couple miles east. Yeesh.
