Auuughhhhh!
May. 12th, 2006 05:33 pmWhy, oh WHY can't there be a way for those of us registered "independent" to *not* have to see all these slimy political ads for folks we can't vote for (or against) anyway?
I suppose it's good practice for when the general election rolls around.
For example, one of the candidates for governor had already convinced me that there was no way in hell he'd get my vote when he ran a negative ad that emphasized things like the fact that the guy he weas running against had contributed to Clinton and Gore.
Today was the clincher on him. His "positive" ad emphasized things like his support for the (thankfully failed) Defense of Marriage amendment to the state constitution. And other things that made it clear he's one of the "make fundamentalist views into law" types.
